HTZSAFE Wireless Lane Departure Alert Sensor

Tested these for months now. I’m actually surprised, didn’t think these could handle AZ heat and being beaten up in heavy rain.

These passed the water durability test. One alarm went off during the night (rabbits) and prepared the household for what could have been a serious scenario.

Just keep in mind, to place in strategic areas where they can’t be seen. (Cameras are to be seen to warn potential unwanted visitors).

Also, they have more of a narrow vision, but think of it as trip wire.

We replaced our old solar driveway alarm with this one and so far it's working okay. Doesn't go off all day from the birds and catches most traffic coming up the drive. Had to move one closer to get it to work so doesn't go half a mile. Will need to replace batteries but seems that will be super easy.

This is a great investment and fairly easy to set up.
My only suggestions would be for the developers to consider making less bed-time like melodies and include more tones like the one that announces “driveway”. Since you can set each individual one to its own tone, it would be nice to have similar tones like “master bedroom” - “utility room” - “Carport” - “front Porch” - and many other similar tones would be very useful. All of the weird melodies are…. Well.. weird and most people would not use.
Another suggestion would be to make a model with a SD card slot so a user could download custom tones that they prefer. Maybe another way for the manufacturer to make a little more money too.

Although we live on a quiet road traffic echoes a lot off of our garage, making it difficult to distinguish between vehicles passing by and vehicles coming up the driveway. As you can tell in the pictures there are two entrances. The immediate area shown is the intended detection area. We have our sensitivity set to low (supposed to detect up to 35 ft or 10 m).

Please note that we walked through the detection area on the driveway and the sensor still alerted to us. In case you were looking for something that detects vehicles only and not animals or people, this may not be for you. I’m only mentioning this because the installation manual we received even states this product is meant to detect the heat of the vehicle engines specifically. We don’t have an issue because we would rather know if someone is walking up our property, and I love watching the deer outside anyway.

We were very pleased at the simplicity of installation and how nice the sensors look. Even better is the fact that you can add sensors later if you want more for different areas of the property!
